CNG Field Service Technician

We’re seeking an experienced CNG Field Service Technician to maintain and repair compressed natural gas fueling equipment. This is a hands-on field position for someone with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and experience working with natural gas compression systems.

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs at CNG/RNG fueling stations
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment failures
• Service compressors, pumps, engines, valves, piping, actuators, gas dryers, and related equipment
• Inspect equipment and identify potential problems before failures occur
• Complete service reports and document repairs, inspections, and parts usage
• Travel between customer locations using a company vehicle
• Follow established procedures for safely working around compressed natural gas equipment
• Participate in an on-call rotation as required

• Direct CNG service or maintenance experience strongly preferred
• Experience with natural gas compressors and compression equipment
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities
• Knowledge of piping, valves, pumps, controls, hydraulics, or HVAC is beneficial
• Industrial electrical or heavy equipment maintenance backgrounds will also be considered
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work outdoors, travel locally/regionally, and lift 50+ lbs.
• High school diploma or GED
